Charles Foster - Being a beast
If you want to learn how wild animals live and behave, there is only one way: you have to become one. That’s what veterinarian, lawyer and teacher at Oxford Charles Foster must have thought when he decided to live like a badger, an otter and a goat. During the day, he slept in a city park just like the foxes do, at night he swam like otters and tried to catch insects the same way sparrows do. A unique approach, to say the least. Journalist Nienke Beintema interviews Charles about his experiences as a beast.
